The course makes one aware of the Microprocessor to Digital Image Processing and Multimedia Systems. We promote the students to use the Open Source Technologies. Information Technology encompasses a wide range of activities like Office Automation, Telecommunication and Computing, therefore provides a larger area of job avenues for those who have acquired the right qualifications for it. At the beginning of this millennium NASSCOM, National Association of Software and Services Companies made an estimate that India would require 10,00,000 trained software professionals in few years. The present availability such skilled people is only 5% of the required amount. So we can conclude that this sector is going to provide employment to a large number of such professionals.
