Blood Donation Camp held on March 05, 2016 at BIT, GIDA, Gorakhpur
All donations to charity make a difference, whether they consist of money, clothing, or simply a couple of hours spent volunteering charitable works, but nothing is comparable to the donation of human blood. In spite of the remarkable achievements of medical science today, there is no means to manufacture blood. It is only in human beings that human blood is made and circulated. Those who require blood for saving their lives or the lives of their loved ones, sharing from other human beings is the only means. Hence, Donating Blood is one of the noblest services to mankind.
With this humanitarian motive and assuming its responsibility in the society Buddha Institute of Technology took this initiative and organized the blood donation camp that was inaugurated by honorable Chief Guest Dr. Satya Pandey, Mayor of Gorakhpur city who appreciated the need for such a humanitarian cause and applauded the management of the institute, faculty members and the students for their active role in the service to humanity. Kudos to Hon’ble Secretary Dr. Rajat Agrawal, Mr. Deepak Agrawal, Faculty members and scores of students who volunteered to donate their blood during the camp and being saviors to hundreds who need blood to save their lives.
