The Mechanical Engineering Department has extensive laboratory structures providing practical training in manufacturing, thermal sciences, materials science, CAD modeling, and automation systems.

Conducts research and evaluation on energy resources, eco-friendly systems, and waste thermal management techniques.

Investigates machine systems, vehicle dynamics, chassis structures, and engine testing setups.

Building Material Lab

Focuses on metallurgical testing, heat treatment analysis, and microstructural characteristics of engineering alloys.

Geo-informatics Lab

Applies mapping tools, coordinate measurements, and digital design metrics for mechanical layouts.

Geo Technical Engineering Lab

Investigates mechanical properties of materials, stress-strain behavior, and foundations for industrial machineries.

HMT (Heat & Mass Transfer) Lab

Examines conduction, convection, and radiation parameters along with heat exchanger operational parameters.

Applied Thermodynamics Lab

Features IC engine setups, boilers, steam turbines, and combustion analysis instrumentation.

RAC (Refrigeration & Air Conditioning) Lab

Investigates performance coefficients (COP) of cooling loops, air conditioning cycles, and duct flows.

Manufacturing Processing Lab

Equipped with conventional lathes, milling systems, shaper machines, and welding instrumentation.

Examines discharge coefficients, venturimeters, orifices, flow visualizations, and Bernoulli's setups.
